There are nights when the door stands open. In this year's Mayan Sacred Calendar, November 1 is 10 Aq'ab'al—the energy of the threshold, the door between dark and light. In a moment when so many traditions turn toward their dead, we come to meet ours. Bring a photograph of someone you love on the other side. We build an altar together. Then we commune with Ceremonial Cacao and journey into the soul field to meet them—not from a distance, but to sit with them and listen. This is not only remembrance—it is contact. Between the heart of the sky and the heart of the earth, your Soul is the bridge to your people on the other side, and the spirits and allies who walk beside you. They have been speaking all along—in dreams, in signs, in the knowing you talked yourself out of.

Grief is welcome here. So is laughter—the dead are often lighter than we expect. There will be time to share before you carry your photograph and messages home.
