About YogaSource

YogaSource is one of Santa Fe’s longest-standing yoga studios. Founded in 1995, it has been a home for yoga, practice, and community for more than three decades.

Wendelin Scott has been at the helm for over twenty years, guiding YogaSource through its continued growth and evolution. Emily Hyland joined Wendelin as co-owner and director after moving from New York City to Santa Fe, bringing her own depth of experience and vision to the studio. Together, they are dedicated to creating a welcoming, vibrant space for practice, connection, and community.

At the heart of YogaSource is an exceptional community of teachers and practitioners. Our deeply experienced and inspired faculty bring a remarkable breadth of knowledge, perspective, and dedication to their teaching, while the many students who practice here bring curiosity, commitment, and life to the space. It is this shared dedication to practice that has sustained YogaSource across the decades and continues to shape who we are today.

YogaSource encompasses two beautiful practice rooms and offers a diverse range of mindful movement and embodied practices. Rooted in the traditions of yoga, our offerings extend to pranayama and meditation, Pilates, strength and mobility, somatics, Feldenkrais®, and other complementary practices that support greater awareness, resilience, and well-being.

Her teaching invites students into curiosity and warm-hearted presence, fostering an experience that is peaceful, joyful, and empowering.

As Director of YogaSource and the YogaSource Teacher Training, Wendelin brings over two decades of teaching, mentorship, and community leadership to her work. She teaches the full spectrum of yoga—physical, energetic, philosophical, and devotional—with clarity, creativity, and compassion.

  • Emily Hyland

    Emily Hyland

    Studio Co-Owner/Director

Emily teaches grounded, strong, stretchy classes designed to help students “bring forth what is [already] within” them. In addition to yoga, Emily also teaches strength training as a vital component of staying healthy, resilient, & connected to one’s physical potential.

Her classes focus on making the choice to be mindful: to tune into—& invest in—relationships with body, mind, & breath as opportunities to inquire into deeper levels of awareness & build intimacy with ourselves, each other, & the gift of each moment in this astonishing world. Whether through mindful asana or intentional strength work, her approach centers the holistic integration of strength, mobility, & awareness. Expect welcoming energy, warm community, poems, joy & levity (at least one bad dad joke per class).

Hyland completed her 200-hour certification at Yogamaya in 2012, along with 75 hours of advanced therapeutics training, & has studied Yin yoga with Corina Benner. She’s currently completing her 300-hour certification with Jason Crandell. She is also an ACE certified group fitness instructor & personal trainer.

Her newest poetry collection, My Wise Little Ghost, was published through Trio House Press in July 2026; she is also the author of Divorced Business Partners: A Love Story (2024) & Emily: The Cookbook (2018), with a third collection, BREASTS, forthcoming from Cornerstone Press in 2027. Hyland is also the co-founder of the international restaurant groups Pizza Loves Emily and Emmy Squared Pizza. Learn more: emilyhyland.com / emmysquaredpizza.com / pizzalovesemily.com
