One of the messages coming out of the Black Lives Matter movement is a call for white people to educate and orient themselves on the issues of racial injustice. This workshop is facilitated by a white practitioner and intended for other white folks and people who benefit from white privilege who are interested in exploring together how to align with antiracism. We will use yoga asana, meditative practices, journaling, and group sharing as containers for self-reflection and building our capacity for bearing witness to racialized trauma and how it shows up in our bodies, individually and collectively. Our intention is to learn about how we can do better in embodying our commitment to the liberation of all beings through solidarity with the movements for Black Lives and justice for Indigenous people and all people of color.

This work will be appropriate for all levels of physical practice and all levels of racial justice study/literacy. It is offered on a donation basis to benefit Black Voices Albuquerque and Tewa Women United. Please click to the Donate button for one or both organizations to make a donation.

This Workshop will be Live-Streamed
