Escape with us to Stowel Lake Farm on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia. Experience a lush and natural landscape, organic food harvested directly from the 115 acre farm, and deep yoga classes with Emily and Frank

Emily and Frank will be leading a variety of yoga classes while we are on retreat, from vibrant movement to deeply restorative. Expect ample time to move, rest, nap, read, hike and wander the 115 acre farm. Everything you choose to participate in on retreat is always up to you. We invite you to take this time to do with it as you wish.

    LODGING + PRICING OPTIONS

    Stowel Lake Farm offers multiple room options including singles, shared rooms, yurts and even a full suite. Please click the link below to see a full property map, accommodation options, and pricing. Pricing runs $1600-$3000 and our group will have exclusive use of the farm during our stay.

    All rooms are first come first serve and specific rooms must be selected upon booking request to join. There is a limited quantity of each so please book as soon as possible to secure your preference.     TRAVEL

    Retreaters are responsible for booking their own travel and getting to Salt Spring Island.

    Travel to Salt Spring Island includes a flight to Vancouver, BC (YVR),  followed by a ferry trip (option A) or 2nd small flight via seaplane (option B). Travel details to/from Stowel Lake Farm, once on the island, will be confirmed as we get closer to retreat.

    Below find recommendations for planning the second part of travel once you are in Vancouver: 

    • The fastest way to reach Salt Spring Island is via seaplane. Options are very limited and if interested, we suggest booking as soon as possible. Flights are currently offered through Sea Air 

      • At a later date, additional flights may be offered through Harbour Air. You may research other flight options as well. 

    • Alternatively, BC Ferry offers daily ferry service from Vancouver to Salt Spring Island. 

      • If taking the ferry, you must take this route: Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal (Vancouver) to Fulford Harbour (Salt Spring Island), which includes a stop and a transfer in Victoria, Swartz Bay. Two separate ferry boats for a total of approx. 2 hrs in travel. 

      • NOTE: This ferry route with the transfer cannot be booked in advance. You will need to purchase a thru-fare ticket once you arrive at the Tsawwassen ferry terminal in Vancouver on your day of travel. 

      • Schedules for September are not yet released. They are expected to be posted by late April. Check back in the spring to plan ahead. 

    Important note: Tuesday 9/3 and Sunday 9/8 are travel days. You must leave enough time to get to Salt Spring Island on Tuesday 9/3, especially if traveling via ferry & from the East Coast U.S.. Please ensure you are in Vancouver by late morning on 9/3 in order to reach the island before dinner that evening. 


    MEALS

    Stowel Lake Farm retreat cuisine is farm to table at its best, with farmers often harvesting produce from gardens and greenhouses minutes before preparation. The daily vegetarian menu depends on the season, in particular whatever is ready to be harvested, and the chef’s preference. The meals change day-to-day and the kitchen team works closely with the farm team to get a pulse for the land’s bounty. Food from the farm is fresh, organic and made from whole food ingredients. The meal plan is vegetarian, however, the talented kitchen team can accommodate many dietary restrictions including dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan. Meals are served buffet-style and we will dine indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather.


    REGISTRATION + DEPOSIT

    A Non-Refundable deposit of $1000 is due at the time of booking along with signed liability waiver (which will be emailed to you) to secure your room request. The balance of payment is due by 6/3/24.

    TO RESERVE YOUR SPACE:

    Please email us at frank@frankwildermannyoga.com or echyland@gmail.com with your room request and number of guests. In order to avoid additional bank fees, once you email us we will send you a bank request, via EF Retreats LLC and Chase, for the deposit. We will also send you a liability waiver to sign. Once your deposit has been processed and your waiver has been signed, your room has been secured. (If you would like to pay the entire balance all at once please let us know and we will adjust the amount of the bank request to adjust the full amount).

    Please note that your deposit is Non-Refundable. If you need to cancel and we are able to rebook your room, your balance will be reimbursed. If we cannot rebook your room then all monies received up until cancellation will be retained. We appreciate your understanding.
