Amy Spurlock

Amy is co-director of Yogasource. Amy Spurlock began studying Yoga Asana in 1995 in both the Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga systems. She has taught workshops, individualized private classes and studio classes for 15 years and is a director of the YogaSource Teacher Training program. She teaches students the structural alignment in order to increase the movement of energy and prana through the physical body. Her classes are energizing and physically challenging with an inward focus.

Melissa Spamer

Melissa Spamer, ERYT 500, L.M.T., C. Ay. began formally practicing Yoga over twenty years ago. She has completed more then six Yoga teacher trainings and has seventeen years of teaching experience, leading classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Her love of Yoga led her to also become an Ayurvedic practitioner, spending more then two years of clinical training at the Ayurvedic Institute. Her approach to Yoga integrates her in-depth studies with such celebrated teachers as Angela Farmer, Victor Van Kooten, Rama Vernon, Shiva Rea, Kali Ray and faculty at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram. 

She has been certifying Yoga teachers since 2006, and specifically enjoys teaching ethics, energetic anatomy, history, and philosophy - helping to guide each student on the path of living Yoga. She remains on the faculty of multiple teacher training programs around the country, and is currently a co-director of YogaSource's teacher training program. 


Wendelin Scott

Wendelin is co-director of both YogaSouce and the YogaSource Teacher Training. She views these roles as an honor and a privilege and is grateful to serve the Yogic Path alongside the amazing community of co-directors, teachers, students and staff at YogaSource. Her Yogic studentship began in 1995 and has included multiple Teacher Trainings  as well as ongoing mentorship with her beloved teachers, Kofi Busia, Shubhraji, Arunji, Paul Cabanis, and Tito La Rosa. She has been teaching Yoga for seventeen years in the ways in which she has been taught by her teachers, simply, directly and with joy. Her classes and instruction facilitate an integration of mind, body and spirit through well-rounded asana practice. She holds a Masters in Eastern Classics and Sanskrit from St. John’s College. She is currently exploring sound healing, the mystery and indigenous traditions of the world, and her garden.

Linda Spackman 

Linda Spackman began practicing yoga in 1984 and began teaching in 2000. Linda's classes include asana, pranayama, Yoga Sutra and Vedic Chant. In addition to her classes at Yoga Source, she teaches with Surya Little and Prajna Yoga, at the Vedic Chant Center in Santa Fe, NM. In each class, Linda imparts her joy and underlying reverence for all aspects of yoga. Her teaching style is accessible yet challenging for all levels of practice, from beginner to lifelong practitioner.  Linda is a devoted student of Sonia Nelson, with whom she regularly studies the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Vedic Chant, Pranayama and Meditation. Sonia, a certified teacher trainer and yoga therapist, and a long time personal student of TKV Desikachar, is a rare teacher whose gift is imparting an understanding of both the tradition and depth of yoga, and how these teachings apply in everyday life.  Linda also treasures the opportunity to study asana with Patricia Walden, one of the most senior teachers of Iyengar yoga. Linda is continually inspired by Patricia's dynamic teaching and the devotion and refined elegance of her practice.  A longtime prenatal and postpartum teacher, Linda specializes in yoga for all phases of a woman’s life. She conducts the Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Intensive, and co-teaches with Surya Little, the Yoga and Women’s Health Program for Prajna Yoga.  In addition to public classes and intensives, Linda enjoys working one-on-one with students in private settings. With a keen eye for alignment and broad understanding of yoga practices, Linda supports students progress step by step through structured self-practice.


Shawn Paulazzo

Shawn has been teaching yoga since 2000. Her teaching of asana has been influenced by her studies with John Friend, Erich Schiffmann, Tias Little and Aadil Palkhivala. She is currently studying the Yoga Sutra’s of Patanjali in the Vedic tradition under the wisdom guidance of Sonia Nelson as well as working on her certification of yoga therapeutics through the school of Integrative Yoga Therapy. Shawn’s classes hold an intention of nourishing the many layers of the individual student in a group setting.




Sara Easterson-Bond

Sara began studying yoga at Yoga Source-Santa Fe in 2005 and was hooked after one class. Now a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor at the Intermediate Jr. I level, Sara’s teaching focuses on bringing stability, balance, strength, grace and humor to the practice of yoga, both on and off the mat. In addition to her Yoga Source mentors, Sara has studied extensively with Senior Iyengar Teacher Patricia Walden; completing Patricia’s 2-year Teacher Training program in 2015. Sara has also studied with Geeta Iyengar in Pune, India.
