Judy
Moon has been an avid student of holistic
health and spiritual inquiry for the past
25+years. She studied massage therapy at
Scherer’s Institute of Natural Healing
and graduated in 1982. Furthering her studies,
she received an R.N. degree in 1986 from
the College of Santa Fe. For over 15 years
she has owned and operated a wellness-based
business.
Currently, Judy coaches patients and families
in end-of-life-care as a hospice nurse as
well as having a private practice as a Life
Coach. She readily brings to her daily life
and to the lives of others lessons inherent
in the dying process. Learning about dying
teaches us best how to live. Recognizing
how precious life is brings to our attention
the importance of living life fully and
authentically in each and every moment.
We have no guarantees for tomorrow.
Judy began studying Yoga with Tias Little
in 2001, attending his teacher trainings
in 2004-2005. Tias has been a tremendous
inspiration and mentor to Judy. Gathering
all the gems she has learned from Tias,
Judy brings to the mat her own eclectic
style, incorporating personal life experiences,
learned yogic philosophy, and the safe and
proper body alignment of Iyenger style Yoga.
She encourages personal introspection and
reflection, believing that what we cultivate
on the mat must be brought into our lives.
This is the goal of our Yoga practice. Life
is our practice.
