Ginna
has practiced yoga for the last decade following
a lifetime of dance, teaching for the last 3 years.
She studied in depth with Tias Little, as well
as with Aadil Palkhivala, Sarah Powers and Paul
Grilley. She embraces the path of Hatha Yoga through
the Yin style of long held postures, and a Vinyasa/Yang
style of moving with the breath, celebrating essential
aspects of the Iyengar and Ashtanga traditions.
Pranayama and meditation are also an integral
part of her teachings.
Ginna is inspired by the transformation possible each time we come to the mat; bringing greater flexibility and ease of movement to the body, and using the various tools of awareness to encourage gradual opening into our true nature.
Ginna
holds a BFA; she continues to study classical
Vedanta with Shubhra Tandon, and Sanskrit with
Nicolai Bachman. She is profoundly grateful to
all her teachers.
