New Students

Welcome to YogaSource—we would love to assist you in beginning your Yoga Practice!  We have spent many years developing and refining our many offerings for new and beginner Yoga students.  Please see our Schedule and Series Class pages for Introduction and Beginner offerings.  Below is some helpful information for people new to Yoga and our Studio.  Please feel free to call our Front Desk or email us with any additional questions.


First Visit
Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before class. Prior to class you will sign a new student form and take care of payment, but it is also beneficial to give yourself time to sit quietly prior to the start of class. Visit our Locations page so you arrive at the appropriate location and find out about available parking.

What class should I take?
We always recommend that the new student begin with our Intro Series. You may also drop in to a regular Beginning Yoga, Gentle Yoga or Restorative class.  Please inform the teacher of any injuries and let them know you are new to Yoga.

What should I wear?
Just wear clothing you feel comfortable moving around in. Shoes and socks are not worn during class.

Is age a factor?
Yoga is for all ages. We have many offerings for all ages and conditions.

Do you rent mats?
We provide mats and other props free of charge.
